HOW TO HELP

Estimated cost to raise a child in foster care birth to age 17 is estimated at $284,594 per child. Where do most foster kids end up? Compared to their peers, former foster youth are more likely to end up in prison. One in five former foster youth nationwide are homeless at 18. Seventy percent of female former foster youth are pregnant before their 21st birthday. Under 3 percent of all former foster youth go on to obtain a college degree eventually.

Take in a Foster Child

Become an adoptive parent or foster parent to one of the thousands of babies born addicted to drugs who need a family to live with. This can make a positive difference in both of your lives! We will do everything we can to help you with your decision.

We appreciate all offers for volunteer help, from handling day to day paperwork to speaking on our behalf. We need your help! If you would like to contact us about donating your time

Spread The Word

Tell people about our program! Share our goals with foster parents, social workers, church leaders, or individuals that struggle with an alcohol or drug problem who may benefit from having birth control options.

We have written materials available to help get the word out. Call our office for flyers to distribute to your local hospitals, police departments, probation department, drug treatment programs and social workers. Speakers from our organization are available for presentations to your club or organization.
